    This is a complete 1 Ton upgraded replacement FLIP KIT drag link kit for your 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. It includes the drag link (Polished Aluminum) which is also the adjusting sleeve, and left and right forged steel drag link ends, the required taper sleeve, plus 2 Ninja Lock Washers.

    Note - this Kit requires the drilling of the knuckle.

    This Kit is a Flip Kit over knuckle mount which is necessary for lifts greater than 3.5 inches. If you're looking for a Standard under knuckle mount, please see KIT147.

    Note: taper sleeves require the knuckle drag link mount to be drilled through with a straight 7/8 Inch drill bit.

    Fitment:
    Wheels and Spacers: If you run AEV or stock Rubicon wheels, you'll need a 1.5 Inch wheel spacer. This kits works with a 17 Inch wheel with a 4.75 Inch backspacing or less. We recommend the steering stabilizer be fitted in the stock location, or a relocation kit may be required.

    Differentials and Mods: This steering system fits stock Dana 30/44 axles. This will fit most modifications, but we want to make sure before shipping. You may also want to discuss with your local Jeep shop to make sure all your modifications are compatible.

    If your jeep has been upgraded to a Dana 60 axle, we have modifications that can work with that as well.

    The Special Sauce:

    • Housing
      • SAE 1045 Solid Steel Forged Housing: This is unequivocally the best carbon alloy steel for this application.
      • CNC Machined Housing: Make our parts and bearings dimensionally perfect, eliminating any die wear issues.
      • Knurled Housings: The preferred design for aftermarket installations.
    • Ball Studs
      • SAE 4140 hot forged Chromoly Ball Studs: For the strongest possible metallurgy.
      • Induction Heat Treated Ball Studs: Provides a very precise heat treatment to the exact depth and location we want it.
      • Polished Ball Studs: Are built like an anti-friction bearing with extremely precise tolerances.
      • Rolled Threads: Are made by pressing the shape of the threads into the ball stud instead of cutting. This strengthens the threads instead of weakening them and allows for easy movement of hardware. This ain't no Ikea furniture!
      • Step Threads: allows for very easy movement of hardware on install and superior holding when torqued (installer choice).
    • Bearing Design
      • Rugged Metal to Metal Bearing
    • Boots
      • CR Rubber Boots: The most durable material for undercar applications. Resistant to deterioration from road level ozone, oil/gas/engine fluids and extreme heat or cold.
      • Accordion Boot: Ideal for high-articulation components, more flexibility means longer life.
    • Finish
      • Phosphate Finish: Extremely durable. Double coated. Threads coated as well. Rugged look.
    • Hardware
      • Grade 8 - Class 10.9 Hardware: Superior tensile strength.
      • Castle Nut: Industry standard where high vibration loads occur.
    • Adjusting Rods
      • Clear Polished Finish: Highly polished, beautiful aluminum.
      • 1.5 Inch 7075-T6 Aluminum Rod: The best aluminum available for this application. Extremely durable but has some flex and memory if you really bash it into something.
    • Lubrication
      • Pre threaded Zerk Housing: If you have ever installed a MOOG Ball Joint without a pre-threaded zerk fitting you will understand what a simple but great feature this is. Another installer fav.
      • Greaseable: Because it should be.
      • Pre-Greased: Just in case you forget, we have you covered.
      • Gull Winged Grease Grooves : Allows for improved lubrication disbursement around the ball stud.
      • Zerk Fittings : Included for every application.
    • Special Features
      • Ninja Washers (tm): An APEX exclusive is our Ninja Washer which is a unique method of securing the lock nut to the tube, erasing the need for lightly built adjusting tubes with ugly pinch clamps. And who doesn't want a ninja on their front end.
