Description
The factory drag link used on most late-model Jeeps is prone to bending due to its vulnerable position and light duty construction. Located directly forward of the front axle, it often makes contact with obstacles before anything else on the vehicle.
When this occurs, the weak OE drag link typically yields to the opposing obstacle. In fact, the combination of large tires and rocky terrain can actually flex the pliable OE part beyond its working limits without contact ever occurring.
This heavy duty Drag Link attaches to the pitman arm and right steering knuckle. Constructed of .500 inch wall DOM 1.25 inch diameter steel tubing, length is 23.625 inch.
Threads are M24 -1.5 Thread; Includes right-hand and left-hand jam nuts; Rod ends required; Powdercoated; Bolt-on; Each.
Features:
- Heavy-duty replacement resists impacts and bending much better than OE drag link.
- Incredibly strong 1.25 inch x 0.500 inch seamless tubing for excellent durability.
- Provides improved steering sensitivity and feedback to driver.
- Properly threaded to accept OE tie rod ends for convenient bolt-on installation - includes jam nuts.
